THE NEED FOR A WELL ENGINEERED TUBE ICE STORAGE AND DELIVERY SYSTEM
The ICELINGS tube ice maker discharges ice every 20 minutes. A tube ice plant of 20 ton per day capacity will produce 280 kg of ice every 20 minutes. Which means, every hour, it will produce 840 kg of tube ice. Depending on the process demand, industrial ice users may require tube ice in batches of approximately 10 tons in one hour or 10 tons in 20 min. In such conditions, they have to store the ice. Also areas where power is inexpensive at night, it is profitable to make ice at night and store it for the usage during the day.

ICELINGS Ice storage and delivery rake system is ideally suited to store up to 100 tons of tube Ice. Industrial tube ice users like chemical, dyes and intermediates manufactures, and seafood processors are using ICELINGS tube ice storage and delivery system. It operates on the principal of first-in-last-out, which means, ice arriving first into the rake and will discharged at the end.

- Standard ice rake components are made from hot-dipped galvanized Steel. For corrosive environment, components are made from Stainless Steel of a suitable grade.
- Ice discharge time can be set to match process time in which ice should be fed. During this time the equipment will operate on delivery mode and will discharge the ice via the delivery screw conveyor.
- The hoist on which the leveller is mounted automatically adjusts the height of the rake to level the ice in the bin.
- PLC controlled for automatic operation.
- Can be integrated with the ice makers’ delivery schedule of the process and overall plant automation.
- Also supplied with customized PUF insulated and/or refrigerated cabins.
