Zero Bacteria UV Treated Packaged Tube Ice

Icelings starts by using filtered water that is continuously tested. By starting with clean water we can make sure that we produce clean ice. The water is then UV treated to ensure that it is completely bacteria free before it enters the tube ice making machine. The quality of tube ice is actually better than the water it is made since the impurities present in the water are moved to the centre of the ice tube and discharged during defrost ensuring that clean, crystal ice tubes are formed.
The cutting process can create unwanted ice pieces that most manufacturers do not remove before bagging ice. At Icelings, we remove these pieces and use them to create our block ice. This process ensures that only full ice cubes will be bagged. Since the tube ice is consistent in shape the tubes melt at an equal pace providing an uniform cooling medium.
After the ice pieces are removed, we separate and refreeze our ice cubes. By doing this we prevent the ice cubes from freezing together. If the ice remains frozen after it leaves our warehouse, then the customer will not have to separate the ice cubes before use.
